Warrior Update: Lady Warriors & Open Gym

LADY WARRIORS ANNOUNCEMENT

As we gear up for an exciting upcoming basketball season, we want to share some
important updates with our Lady Warriors family:

Open Gym:

Open gyms will conclude over the last two Thursdays of August, 21st and 28th.

Coaching Staff Announcement:

We are thrilled to announce our coaching leadership for the 2025 season:
• Albert Moore – Head Coach, Lady Warriors Varsity Team | Assistant Coach JV Team
• Ashley Moore – Assistant Coach, Varsity | Head Coach, JV Team

If interest and participation continue to grow, we plan to have 12U and 14U teams and are
actively working on securing coaches for those levels. It is Coach Moore’s goal to have
multiple coaches at each level to help develop and support our young athletes’ growth.

Season Planning Meeting:

Join us for a Lady Warriors season kickoff meeting:
• 🗓 Thursday, August 28
• 6:45 PM – 7:30 PM
• Lebanon Fieldhouse (prior to final open gym)
All prospective Lady Warriors players and parents are encouraged to attend for
important season information and a Q&A session.

MEET THE COACHES:

Coach Albert Moore

Albert and his wife, Robyn, have homeschooled their 9 children since 1991, graduating 8 so
far. Their youngest, Esther, will be a senior this year, and they have 7 grandchildren.
Albert began coaching homeschool basketball in 2006 with the Southeast Indiana Panthers
and later with the Cincinnati Trailblazers. His sons were key players in many classic
matchups with the Northwest Warriors.
Professionally, Albert is an actuary with OneAmerica Financial, holds an Applied
Mathematics degree from MIT, and serves on various actuarial committees. He is also the Recruiting Coordinator and Head of Data Analysis for the Lewis & Clark Community
College women’s basketball program, where his son Isaac serves as Head Coach.

Coach Ashley (Deweese) Moore

Ashley is a 2025 graduate of Ohio Christian University (OCU) and a former player for
Teays Valley High School in Ashville, OH. At OCU, she transitioned from shooting guard to
point guard and was a standout player, averaging 17.0 points per game, leading in assists,
and playing lockdown defense.
Ashley earned Third Team and Honorable Mention honors in the NAIA River States
Conference, was a River States Scholar Athlete, and led the team’s Bible study and
mentoring efforts. She also played a vital leadership role with the Lady Warriors during
June ball this summer.

We’re looking forward to a strong season and can’t wait to hit the court together!
