3 News Items: 1) This Week, 2) Nationals, 3) Kids Sizes in Spirit Gear

We are Coming off of a great weekend of basketball in Fort Wayne at the FWIG Tournament, and Indianapolis.  Here’s where we landed:

• Varsity took 1st place (3-0) in the Varsity Gold Division, Fort Wayne
• Jr. Varsity took 1st place (3-0) in the Varsity Bronze Division, Fort Wayne
• Jr. High took 5th place (2-1) in the Jr. High Silver Division, Fort Wayne
• 12u took 3rd place (2-1) in the 12u Gold Division, Fort Wayne
• 10u lost a close one despite being down a number of players in IYBL league, Indianapolis

(1) THIS WEEK – parents stay close to your GroupMe as coaches update you on our Tuesday practice situation.  We have moved the Columbus Hawks game originally on 1/25 to 3/5.  The calendar currently has that game in Columbus but we are working to make it a home game and Senior Night.  We will communicate this out as soon as we confirm so no need to ping your coaches as the ball is rolling and the work is in process!

(2) NATIONALS HOTEL – The Warriors have a block of ~40 hotels for the week of nationals March 12th.  Please start making your reservations – simply call and tell them you’re with the Warriors.  We lose our block of remaining rooms Feb 12th, so Call today!

• Comfort Inn South – Springfield MO on S. Glenstone Ave.
• For planning, V/JV/JH start play on Monday 3/14; while 12u/10u start play on Tuesday 3/15

(3) SPIRIT GEAR – it came to our attention that kids sizes were originally not included but that has been remediated!  CLICK HERE to order your Warrior gear and in kids sizes!  Deadline to order is 1/30.  Coaches, or parents, please post a link in your GroupMe.
