First Games – Recap

Varsity I and II traveled to Missouri for the St. Louis Tip-off Tournament

After winning their first game, Varsity I went 1-3 against some of the best teams in the Nation in the Gold bracket.
Varsity II took their medicine going 0-3 with a nail-biter on Friday against the TN Heat.

Lady Warriors and Junior High Boys travelled to Lafayette for the Marlins Tip-Off

JH A team went 2-1 in the tourney, taking 2nd place against the shifty Wildcats.
JH B broke even at 1-1 only losing to the Wildcats “B” team.
The Lady Warriors took their lumps, going 0-3 but showed a flash of aggressiveness scoring 33 points against the Noble Whitley Warriors.

First game jitters are out of the way with these teams. Can’t wait to see them develop this year!

Warrior home games are a big deal! It’s an opportunity to support the program while watching and cheering for all the teams. Here’s the game schedule for Friday at Westside Nazarene:

5:30 – 12U Boys
6:30 – JH Boys Team 1
7:30 – JV/V2 Boys
8:30 – Varsity I Boys

Lady Warriors will travel to Kokomo to play the KASH girls. Game times at St. Luke’s Preschool (700 E Southway Blvd, Kokomo, IN 46902) are:

1:30p – JH Girls
2:30p – JV Girls
