3 Important Updates + Bonus … Must Read!

Number 1: huge thank you to Jennifer and Maggie for leading the coordination efforts for concessions and admissions – everyone please click this super slick SIGN UP LINK which is not a Google Doc being persnickety on mobile phones.  We play the feral cat team on Friday at Home (Westside Nazarene)!

Number 2: practice next week cannot be at Chapel Rock due to closings for the week – we have been diligently working to find replacement practice gyms for Monday Tuesday and as of today, we have a (please make note) Monday 12/13: Colonial Hills Baptist Church gym 80th & Keystone.  As of this moment, we have not procured a Tuesday gym so by Monday we will communicate either a location, or that we have no practice gym that day.  Many coals in the fire – waiting to hear back from a few before we communicate.

Number 3: the Annual Warriors Father Son Game (and Alumni Game) is taking place next Sat 12/18 at Colonial Hill Baptist Church gym.  Here is the line up:

• 6:30 pm  10u & 12u – we’ll either do one the first half, or 10/12/10/12 quarter by quarter but know those two will play one full game together
• 7:30 pm  14u – this gets an entire game (which now that I have to play in, I’m thinking maybe 3 min quarters? JJ-LOL)
• 8:30 pm  Warriors Alumni vs Varsity Game!  Alumni, show up!!  If nobody does then we’ll have Barry run drills or have his guys scrimmage for a time.

BONUS: I have been working behind the scenes w/ a new Spirit Wear provider and we finally have the mock-ups.  I am meeting with her by Zoom on Monday to hash out details re: website, etc.  We will be offering 9 articles of clothing: 2 shooting shirts (kids, teams can pick between gray or black, or hodgepodge); 4 hoodies (black/gray; red/gray); 3 t-shirts (red/black/gray).  Some fresh styles with of course some of our classic logo.  Hope to have details next week.
